Mini Session Dance Classes at Arts in Motion

Mini sessions are a great option for beginners that would like to try out dance, or anyone that would like to sample a new style, without a month to month commitment.

Arts in Motion offers affordable mini-session programming throughout the school year. As a bonus, these programs are offered without any added registration or member fees, and have no dancewear or uniform requirement.

Discover with Me - Caregiver & Tot Class (18 months - 3 years)

We’re famous for our unique, developmentally-aligned approach to early childhood and preschool dance!

Play and bond with your little one in this special caregiver and child class that explores music, imagination, and play to enhance motor skills and listening skills. Class also focuses on socialization and learning to be part of a class. Class is performed in bare feet and moveable clothing. No registration fee or uniform requirement for this special class.

My first dance class (3-5 years)

The perfect first step into dance class! Students are immersed in the world of dance and movement through engaging and memorable activities and skills, guided by our experienced and nurturing instructor. As they explore developmentally-appropriate skills and foundational dance and ballet steps, they also cultivate their own creativity while building spatial awareness and gross motor skills, learning musical concepts, and exploring expressive free movement. Your child will absolutely love this class! Class is performed in bare feet and clothing. No registration fee or uniform requirement for this 6 week class.

Broadway Kids (6-11 Years)

Broadway Kids is a mixed genre class filled with Broadway style dancing and signing. Classes incorporate beginner singing techniques combined with jazz dance techniques one would typically see on a Broadway stage. This class emphasizes learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience and facial expressions. Class is performed in bare feet and moveable clothing. No registration fee or uniform requirement for this 6 week class.
